BatRep: FUBAR small battle

Hi all,

a couple of weeks ago I finally have had the opportunity to try the FUBAR "one page" set of rules (the best place to learn about it is Chris K. blog Basement Gaming Bunker).
Although my taste is more for the THW "Reaction System"style of play, these rules have the good thing to be simple without being trivial, with mechanics which are very easy to understand for anyone who has played before any miniature game... and allow you to put on the table everything, from giant robots to bugs, tanks, or whatever you may think to with no much "homework" to do before play.
What I tried (with my very patient -and terribly competitive- gf) is a small skirmish but in my perception these rules are great for quite large battles as they focus on the units more than the single men.
Below the batrep (as usual, I lost. But this time it was better this way as Dani is not what you would call a good loser, and I love to see her smile! :)

un paio di settimane fa sono finalmente riuscito a provare il set di regole da una pagina FUBAR (il miglior posto in cui trovare informazioni a proposito è il blog di Chris K. Basement gaming Bunker).
Sebbene il mio gusto personale sia più orientato al Reaction System di THW, queste regole hanno la caratteristica di essere semplici senza scadere nella banalità, con meccaniche facilmente comprensibili da chiunque abbia mai giocato "a miniature"... e soprattutto permettono di schierare praticamente qualunque cosa, da robottoni giganti, a mostri alla alien, carri armati e qualunque altra cosa senza troppi compitini in cui perdere ore prima di giocare.
Quello che ho provato con la mia paziente (e terribilmente competitiva) ragazza è stata una breve schermaglia. Credo però che queste regole diano il meglio se impiegate per grandi battaglie, dal momento che si focalizzano sull'unità, piuttosto che sul singolo uomo.
Sotto, il resoconto (come al solito ho perso io.. ma meglio così perchè la Dani non è una che prende bene la sconfitta, ed adoro vederla sorridere!)
